Walmart, or if you find a good deal like a one time sale somewhere else. Actually you can also buy peoples old frames on ebay and switch out the lenses if you’re really thrifty.

Try the Wal-Mart vision center. Good prices and quality frames.
You can usually find some at Drugstores, but I have even seen them at Discount Store such as Buck or Two or the Dollar Store.
My son told me about a teacher who buys Dollar Store glasses and takes them to a optician who puts lenses in!!! Regarding the Wal-Mart post….I called a Wal-Mart optical center number in the phone book and was told it was not Wal-Mart but an indepedent provider!!! So the great 2/$80 coupon was not valid there….and it was listed under Wal-Mart! Watch out for coupon scams!
Walmart has an optometrist office in the store. They accept most insurance and have Quality but reasonably priced frames for Kids and adults. They also stand behind their work on the lenses and have a good warranty on the frames. They can also do safety glasses, Bifocals, and all kinds of contact lenses.
